A great little idea from Achtung for Vodafone. To promote Vodafone becoming a provider of fiber internet in The Netherlands, the people of Roggel were tested to see if they were quick enough by racing Jensen Button in a mini Grand Prix

Loving this new Cravendale ad by Wieden & Kennedy. Genius. Never even considered who was the first person who decided to milk a cow.

What do Social Networks and Superheroes have in common? Decent infographic from Freestyle Interactive.

After a recent idea was slated at the end of the presentation I delievered to New Balance for my last University project, I wanted to just point out to the world of Tumblr how on the mark I was…

Take a look at this link. Using the idea of gaming in a literal way but out of context really can create a striking combination. Sorry tutors, this time you were wrong!

A sheep. Really?
I like it. Nothing says “look at me” more than a sheep standing on a rock in the Arctic wearing a Pringle Scarf.

Absent

I am aware of my recent absence from my blog and I hate to admit that I don’t really have any reason for it! I could blame the world of advertising or I could even claim that I just haven’t had the time but this isn’t the case. I simply have not posted anything for a while….ok?

What a genius creation for Skittles. Hillarious! Note that there are other versions of this finger-placing interactive viral ads-including one with a tramp! What more could you want?

hands down my favourite ad in the past 3 years-since John Lewis’ Christmas ad “Shadows”

Nothing in this advert made sense to me and this is perhaps why I love it so much!

Everything featured in the advert suggest to me it was for Butlins however the green Dinosaur and mellow music confused me enough to ensure I watched the clip from top to bottom. Thankfully I was right but still, I was left questionning how appropriate/expected the ad was for Butlins. It had the cliché shots in the restaurant and stage areas, as well as children running around happily but this wasn’t enough for me. The somewhat depressed green dinosaur tricked me into thinking “it just can’t be for Butlins, it’s not loud/red enough to be Butlins”.

Congratulations to Mother (only now have I looked into the agency behind the ad and realised it is Mother-my ultimate agency for which I have to and will work with…one day. They keep surprising me by consistently creating ads that I simply cannot forget. Unbelievable). You fooled me
